We run the hosting and the deployment pipeline, and certificates renew themselves. You do not get a renewal email, and the site does not go down because one expired.
- Backups
Backed up, and restore tested.
Regular backups, kept off the server they came from. A backup nobody has ever restored is a guess, so restores get tested rather than assumed.
- Monitoring
We find out before you do.
Uptime and error monitoring with alerts. If the site goes down at 2am, the alert goes to us, not to a customer trying to reach you in the morning.
- Updates
Dependencies kept current.
Security and dependency updates applied and verified. On a static site this is a small job, which is exactly why it never gets skipped.
- Changes
Content changes when you ask.
Prices, staff, hours, photos, a new service. Included up to the hours in your plan, and billed hourly beyond that at a rate you know in advance.
- Reporting
A monthly note on what happened.
What changed, what broke, what was updated, and how the site performed. Short, and in plain language.
Why a plan rather than hourly.
Maintenance billed hourly gets deferred, because every small fix turns into a decision about whether it is worth the money. Deferred maintenance is how sites end up broken.
A flat monthly fee removes that decision. The work happens because it is already paid for, which is the only arrangement where it reliably gets done.
You should not have to think about your hosting.
